Terms of Service

Effective 2026-07-12

FrictionLens is an independent project operated by Chetan Jonnalagadda. By using it you agree to these terms — written to be read, not skimmed past.

The service

FrictionLens analyzes app-store reviews with AI and produces reports, trends, and email digests. Analyses are generated by large language models: they can be wrong, incomplete, or miss context. Reports are decision support, not professional advice — validate anything important against the underlying reviews (every claim links to its sources for exactly this reason).

Acceptable use

Public reports

Making a report public creates a URL anyone can view. You're responsible for what you choose to publish; we may unpublish reports that are abusive or misleading.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the preceding 12 months — which, for the free tiers, is zero.

Termination & changes

You can stop using the service and request deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, and may modify or discontinue features. Material changes to these terms update the effective date above.
